We are a proud sorority welcoming those who carry the values of sisterhood, leadership, service, and scholarship. The purpose of Delta Zeta is to unite its members in the bonds of sincere and lasting friendship, to stimulate one another in the pursuit of knowledge, to promote the moral and social culture of its members, and to develop guidance and unity in action; objects worthy of the highest aim and purpose of the associated effort. Our Chapter's sisterhood is not only encompassed by the women around us but Delta Zeta sisters across the nation.
Our Chapter
Being a Delta Zeta is more than just being a member of a sorority. It is a chance to create life long friendships, unforgettable memories and a wide range of networking opportunities. Delta Zeta's calendar is always filled with exciting events throughout the year, from Illinois State athletic events, socials, sisterhood events, charity events, formals and more. Aside from Delta Zetas' involvement, we are highly encouraged and motivated to be involved in extracurricular activities from holding prestigious internship positions to being members of other student organizations on campus.
We urge every member to pursue their dreams and participate in other activities that will make their college career and education at Illinois State a top-notch, once in a lifetime experience!

Delta Zeta Lambda Rho was first founded at Illinois State University on March 4, 1973. Delta Zeta has continued to prosper throughout the years with over 165 chapters. Delta Zeta has now grown into the second-largest national sorority and even has collegiate chapters in Canada, making it the largest international sorority! Illinois State University is home to the Lambda Rho chapter of Delta Zeta. Today, Delta Zeta has over 207,000 alumnae and collegiate members in the United States and Canada.
